    Scraping Tool

    in Cool Stuff

During the Flory sanding sticks demo video, Mr. Flory used a strangely shaped scraping tool that none of us had seen before. Dan Attilio happened across it by accident, and it turns out that there are several tools in the series. The one that Flory used is the Alec Lagia Precision Chamfering Tool with a variety of cutting shapes.

Then there is the Alec R-Boko Tool with a variety of curved recesses.

And the Alec R-V6 for scraping inside concave surfaces (including ejector pin scars)

These look very useful, but at $28-30 apiece?

Nice find! Not sure I'm ready to pony up yet for that, but I'd like the R-Boko tool - maybe a birthday present?

Thanks for the heads up on this seam scraper. I picked another brand up on amazon(?) and it works rather nicely. Its only draw back is not scrapping-function but rather that there are not enough profiles for larger contours. This product (camfering tool) seems to have a better selection. I will do a follow up as soon as I get the product and try it. If it is 1/2 as good as the other scrapper I have, I will call it a winner now.
